Ascension prepared me for high school so well. I went into freshman year feeling so confident about my studies. I felt very organized and prepared, because during 8th grade I got to focus on what high school would be like and the different challenges I might face.
After nine years at Ascension, transitioning into high school was both exciting and a bit intimidating. I felt very academically prepared. Some of my freshman material was a review from what I had learned at Ascension. The help from my teachers, classmates and my overall experience at Ascension, prepared me well for high school.
"At Ascension, our family feels at home. Our kids are happy and we are happy! It is everything we wanted in a school; an impressive well-rounded education, an awesome community, and a wonderful staff!"
Ascension Catholic School's small class sizes and caring teachers have really challenged my kids to excel academically and to get involved in many of the activities the school has to offer. The school community creates a wonderful sense of family and a comfortable environment for students to grow not only academically, but spiritually and socially. My kids have truly benefitted from all that Ascension Catholic School has offered them.
Ascension Catholic School provides our children an evironment that encourages them to grow in their faith and it nurtures an appreciation of Christian values. Values that are taught in our home are reinforced at Ascension daily. The children at Ascension take pride in their efforts to be responsible, self-discipled, do their best, and celebrate each other's achievements. We are blessed to be part of a community of dedicated parents and educatos who share their faith, their talents and their time. Children are encouraged to learn and grow academically and spiritually, reach their highest potential and use their God-given gifts. Ascension is responsive to changing interests and needs of students and families. Extra-curricular activities, after-school enrichment, service projects and fundraisers are some examples of opportunities offered to children and families grades K-8. At Ascension Catholic School, we are all reminded daily that God is present in everything we do.
