Ascension Parents Association Mission

The Ascension Parents Association (PA) is a voluntary organization open to all parents whose children attend Ascension School.

The purpose of the PA is to promote the welfare of Ascension School. The organization strives to better our Catholic school community through cooperation with both the administration and parents.  The PA develops and manages fundraising opportunities throughout the year to support our school and teachers and provide financial support to many school activities.  The PA also hosts social activities to build community among school families.

To create a strong school community, we draw on these values: Inclusivity, Involvement, Service to Others, Spirituality.

All Ascension parents are welcome and encouraged to experience the fun and fulfillment of volunteering through the Parents Association.

Become a Room Parent

One of the best ways parents can get involved with their child's classroom is to volunteer as a room parent! The Parents Association recruits two room parents for each homeroom.  These volunteers serve as a parent representative for the teacher, communicate important information to families in the class and manage signups for annual activities such as classroom Christmas parties, field trip chaperones and school-wide events.
